Names for a specific COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE method. If an Agency suspects it has a leak, it distributes slightly different versions of a document or information. When the leaked version surfaces, the culprit is identified; i.e.; a Document with a misprinted date surfaces. 'X' was given the Document with the misprinted date, therefore 'X' was the leak.
