DEAR GUN

DEAR GUN - (CIA) DEAR (DENIED AREA WEAPON) guns were produced for the Vietnam conflict along the same lines as the mass produced LIBERATOR of WWII. Cast in aluminium with steel barrels, these guns fired a single 9mm round, the idea being for guerilla forces to use them to get better enemy weapons. See also LIBERATOR.
