TROJAN HORSE

TROJAN HORSE is a term for a piece of code hidden within software, either to distribute malicious code or to conceal a BACKDOOR. One example was developed by the NSA's Office of Tailored Access Operations (TAO). Codenamed OLYMPUSFIRE, the software infects Windows machines to give TAO operators complete access. Target machines, routers, networks etc are identified using software such as XKEYSCORE.
