OXCART

OXCART - (Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, USA) the Lockheed A-12 reconnaissance aircraft was built for the CIA at the infamous 'Skunk Works' following a design by U-2 designer Clarence "Kelly" Johnson. As overflights of the Soviet Union were prohibited, with photo-reconnaissance satellites replacing them, the A-12 saw service over North Vietnam and North Korea. OXCART was cancelled in 1968.
