SRR-100
SRR-100 (CIA) 1970's bodyworn Surveillance scanner. Consisting of a receiver unit, an induction loop worn around the neck and a commercially-available Phonak earpiece. A false silicon ear was fashioned for each user to conceal the earpiece. Operatives could listen to KGB surveillance chatter and determine if they were 'black' - meaning clear of surveillance. Later models included frequency hopping capability.
